Since its inception in 1976, and subsequent restructuring in 2006, Sarooj has forged an indelible imprint in Oman’s construction sector,
particularly in Roads & Bridges, Oil & Gas, Marine, Utilities, Energy, Renewables and Civil & MEP works.
With a dynamic portfolio exceeding $1.3 billion and a dedicated workforce of over 4,000 highly skilled professionals, our contributions

While investigating incidents can be a difficult process, it provides invaluable insights for improvement. These insights, coupled with a proactive approach, have resulted in millions of safe man-hours and kilometers driven without lost-time injuries (LTIs) – a testament to our ongoing success.
Sarooj boasts a highly qualified HSE department staffed with dedicated professionals, including a strong contingent of Omani nationals. We actively pursue continuous improvement through various initiatives and hold prestigious international certifications like ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety). Ultimately, our mission is simple: ensure all employees return home to their families safe and healthy every day.
